Defeat at La HogueApril 12, 2023
Little is known of the origins of the legendary pirate known only as “Yellowbeard”. He is said to be the most bloodthirsty pirate in all of history, having been personally responsible for the slaying of over 5000 Spaniards & Frenchmen. Often eating their heads. In 1687, he attacks and captures a well laden Spanish Galleon and then buries the treasure captured aboard. He then continues plundering French and Spanish ships until he is betrayed by his quartermaster and imprisoned in England for tax evasion. Twenty years later, Yellowbeard is about to complete his prison sentence, having kept the location of his buried treasure secret. His sentence is then extended indefinitely, and he escapes from prison and joins his son Dan and several others in successfully recovering his treasure so that he may finance further piratical expeditions.
